Mark Norwine is a nationally recognized behavioral health advocate. After a Missouri high school lost three students to suicide, Mark embarked on a 200-mile walk across the state seeking to educate students and better understand the epidemic for himself. A film crew followed along and created Walking Man. The film is an honest look at Mark’s family’s journey with mental illness while also showing the need for awareness and education. He began Norwine Behavioral Health Advocates as a way to share the film and educate our communities. Mark has been married for thirty years to his beautiful and patient wife, Lisa. They have three wonderful children who have each grown up to be fantastic young adults. He loves St. Louis Cardinals baseball, wildlife and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.
